As you are studying in Charlottetown, prince edward island, If you intend to renew your study permit, you are recommended to apply before the expiry of the permit, The reason is that you must immediately leave Canada on expiry of your study permit, In some instance, you might be able to apply for status restoration, But, if there is a delay in status restoration, you will not be allowed to study until then.
