    Established in 1998, Canadian Mennonite University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Winnipeg (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Manitoba. Officially accredited/recognized by the Department of Advanced Education and Literacy, Manitoba, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) is a very small (enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Mennonite religion. Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. CMU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sport facilities and/or activities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.

    Yes, in case an international student holds a valid study permit of Winnipeg, manitoba and is undergoing a full-time course at a DLI, he/she is permitted to work both on-campus and off-campus without getting a separate work permit for the same, With a valid study permit, you will be permitted to work for up to 20 hours per week

    To study and to stay in Winnipeg, manitoba for more than six months, you will have to first get an admission to a Canadian Designated Learning Institution shortly called as DLI that has Government of Canada recognition, Once you get an approval letter from DLI, you will have to apply for a study permit.
